Frequently asked questions
Does resizing reduce quality?
Making an image smaller keeps it sharp — the resizer downscales in steps for smooth results. Enlarging beyond the original size can look soft because new pixels have to be invented.
How do I keep the aspect ratio?
Leave “Keep aspect ratio” ticked and enter only a width (or only a height). If you enter both, the image fits inside that box without distortion.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Resizing uses the Canvas API in your browser; nothing is sent to a server.
Can I resize many images at once?
Yes. Select multiple files and they are all resized with the same settings.
