🔒 Private: runs in your browser, no upload

How to split a PDF

  1. Choose a PDF file — the page count appears.
  2. Choose “Every page as a separate PDF” or “Extract a page range” and type ranges such as 1-3, 7, 10-.
  3. Click Split PDF and download the files (or the ZIP).

About splitting PDFs

Pages are copied with pdf-lib without re-rendering, so text remains searchable and quality is unchanged. Ranges are processed in the order you type them, which also lets you reorder pages (for example 3, 1-2).

Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. Splitting happens in your browser; the file never leaves your device.

How do I write page ranges?

Use commas between items and a hyphen for ranges: 1-3, 5, 8-. An open range like 8- means “page 8 to the end”.

Can I reorder pages?

Yes. Pages are extracted in the order you type them, so 3, 1, 2 produces a PDF with page 3 first.

Is quality reduced?

No. Pages are copied exactly as they are in the original.
